Garvin Design Group was established to provide Client-Driven Design Solutions to the building needs of clients. Founding principal Scott Garvin started the firm with more than 17 years and $200,000,000 worth of project experience (construction value), setting out to fill a need for more efficient project delivery methods for clients of all types.

Shortly after opening his firm in June of 2003, Scott was joined by a group of highly talented individuals. Principals, Mark Timbes, Scott Lambert, and Terry Buchmann worked together with Scott at their former firm and have an extensive portfolio of projects. Each possesses a strong design ability combined with a common sense approach to construction. Kim Bendillo is a talented interior designer that has worked with this group for the last 12 years. Her interior design abilities are evident in many of the award winning projects she has overseen. Office Manager Kim Finch brings with her over 11 years of experience in the construction field, and Business Manager Dianne Lance brings more than 20 years experience in the finance and business management departments. Architect Steve Layne brings over 32 years of project management, construction administration, and historic renovation experience to the firm. The team is rounded out by a talented and driven group of Architects and interns. David Sickinger, Becky Brantley, and Brandon Rogers all bring young creative talent and energy to a dynamic firm.

Garvin Design Group offers comprehensive planning and design services for small and large clients alike. From space planning and programming through up fitting and campus design, the Garvin Design Group strives to educate clients throughout the design process with the hopes of fostering an appreciation and understanding of architecture as a means of problem-solving for the built environment.
