Schuylkill Valley Regional Dance Company was founded in 1971 in Pottstown, PA and is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting dance in the community. SVRDC permanently relocated to Phoenixville in 2013, and is proud to provide opportunities to dancers, ages 6 years and older, to experience on-stage shows.
Under the direction of Brittany Flaherty-Ryan, SVRDC currently performs an annual full-scale production of the Nutcracker as well as at various local and regional festivals. The company makes its home at the Kimberton Dance Academy in Phoenixville, PA. Also directed by Ms. Ryan, KDA provides students with high quality training in various styles of dance in levels ranging from pre-school to pre-professional, preparing them well to audition for and dance in company productions and beyond.
