Complete Building Services (CBS) was established in 1963 in response to a growing need for building engineers and maintenance professionals in Washington, DC. Following the energy crisis in the 1970’s, CBS created the Energy Management Division to offer customers computerized management of their buildings’ mechanical and lighting systems. After a half century of success, CBS further expanded to include complete facilities management services, and now maintains major facilities for private and government clients in the DC area. Since our inception, our goal has been to provide technical expertise and cost-effective services to our clients.
Our parent organization, The Donohoe Companies, Inc., was established in 1884. Donohoe and its Construction, Real Estate, Hospitality, Development and Facilities Management divisions is the oldest and one of the largest full-service real estate companies in the greater Washington DC area. CBS is proud to be a part of a team with more than 130 years of tradition and experience serving property owners and operators.
