Nix Companies is fifth generation family business. In 1902 our business began in very humble beginnings as a dirt floor blacksmith shop in Poseyville, IN. Our founder, Charles Henry Nix, immigrated from Germany. The business has continued to evolve throughout the generations, and today is ran by great, great grandsons of Charles, Matthew and Adam Nix.
