Melody Ann Pugh, 52, of West Paducah, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 2:20 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was co-owner of Pugh's Midway and a member of High Point Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Durand Pugh of West Paducah, Kentucky; daughter, Ashley Pugh of Atlanta, Georgia, daughter, Kayla Klope and husband Adam Klope of West Paducah; and she loved being the greatest MiMi to her beautiful grandson, Kyle Michael Klope.
She was the daughter of Jane Kimsey and step-father Lew Kimsey of Paducah, and daughter of Bill McElya and stepmother Cathy McElya of West Paducah, and daughter-in-law to Charles and Dorothy Pugh of West Paducah.
Sister to Noel McElya and wife Teresa McElya of West Paducah, step-sister to Dina Kimsey of Brooklyn, New York, step-sister to Ian Kimsey of Paducah, and step-sister to David Galloway of Paducah. She was the world's greatest MiMi to her beautiful nieces Mia Kimsey and Anna DeSilvio.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emmett and Elizabeth Almon and Noel and Lucille McElya.
Funeral services for Melody will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Doug Stevens and Rev. Danny Swinnea officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation for Melody will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
