The 2017 Alumni & Friends Reunion at Au Sable was a celebration of the life's work of Dr. Calvin B. DeWitt, the Founding Director of the Au Sable Institute. It was an event filled with sharing of stories, honoring Cal's years at Au Sable, integrative sessions, hikes, and time spent as a community over meals! Thanks to all who participated and made this an event to remember!

Today, our Green Team along with some students from the Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies toured Catalyst Partners, the LEED Platinum building on Grand Rapids' west side. Catalyst Partners specializes in LEED certification and green building design and construction, helping clients in the development and implementation of sustainable and restorative design protocols for buildings, interiors, and products. Plaster Creek Stewards has used native landscaping at their property to help keep and treat 100% of their stormwater on site. Thank you to Keith Winn and his team for hosting us!
