Gerten's Farm Market is a family owned and operated Garden Center in the local community of Inver Grove Heights.
This store was started in 1983 by lifelong IGH resident Terry Gerten. Originally Gerten's Farm Market was a place to purchase fresh produce. By the end of his first season, Terry was also selling some flowers and shrubs.
Over 30 years later, Gerten's Farm Market now focuses on spring bedding plants. You will find a large selection of quality vegetable and herb plants, including 20 tomato and pepper varieties. Vine crops including squash, cucumbers, melons and pumpkins are also available. An excellent variety of annual and perennial plants are available for your gardens or containers including many Proven Winner Petunias.
Inside the store you will find things like seed potatoes, onion sets and grass seed as well as fertilizers for your lawn and garden.
Gerten's Farm Market carries a wide variety of fertilome products and will be happy to help you find a solution to your weed, insect, fungus or pest problems.
You will also find a great selection of glazed, terra cotta, and plastic planters as well as lawn and garden statuary to decorate your outdoor spaces.
