Greater Los Angeles Agency of Deafness
The Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness, Inc., known as GLAD, has been improving the overall well-being of deaf* people since its creation in 1969.
Recognizing the diversity of our communities, GLAD believes in supporting personal choice of communication mode(s). All persons, regardless of hearing loss, race, color, religion, national origin or citizenship status, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, pregnancy, age, disability, and military status, are welcome at GLAD.
*When we use “deaf”, GLAD refers to all deaf people, including those who are deafblind, deaf disabled, and hard of hearing.
