Sojourn to the Past is a non-profit organization that has, since 1999, led thousands of students on a life-changing educational journey through the hallowed sites of the Civil Rights Movement. Students meet and travel with veterans of the Freedom Struggle and connect historic events to contemporary issues as part of their experience.
Sojourn’s vision is to inspire young adults to become engaged citizens and community leaders who promote social justice through nonviolence.
