We are located very near James Madison's Montpelier! Yager Rd. is our driveway and is off of Jacksontown Rd. which can be accessed from Route 231 coming from Barboursville/Gordonsville and Route 20 coming from Orange.
From Barboursville, take Route 20 north toward Montpelier. As a short cut, you can take a right on Rt. 655/Weyburn and drive approx 1 mile until you get to 231 where you must take a right or left. Take a right and then directly after the Dairy farm, take a left onto Jacksontown Rd. The nursery will be on your right in about a mile. NOTE: When you are on 20 going toward Montpelier, if you accidentally pass Weyburn, you will get to 231 again when you see the Somerset store. If you get this far, take a right at the Somerset store and then a left at the Dairy (Jacksontown Rd).
From the Gordonsville traffic circle, take 33 west going toward Barboursville and then take an immediate right on 231 going north for approx. 3 miles and then take a right onto Jacksontown Rd. (next to the Dairy).
From Orange, take 20 going south to Montpelier. Pass Montpelier and take your next left onto Jacksontown Rd. You will find the nursery on your left after a few miles.
Depending on where you live in Charlottesville, it's an easy 25 to 45 minute drive. We are approximately one hour from the greater Richmond area and hours from Washington, DC making it a very doable day trip.
