Whitley's Construction Corp

In 1976, Mike Whitley moved from Lakewood, Ca. to the Coachella Valley to pursue the opportunity of framing custom homes and raise his family.

By 1980 Michael’s business had grown from framing custom homes to complete build out of new homes. Over the next ten years he was able to develop his skills and understanding of all construction fields from off site work, concrete, plumbing, roofing, drywall, and painting but most of all understand that the desert we live in is a small community and every job you do is another opportunity for success. The 80’s provided a great boom in the housing market but by the early 90’s came high interest rates and a market crash. Mike decided to head for higher ground in Denver, Colorado where he started a successful restoration and remodeling company.

Jason Whitley, Mikes youngest son, made the first year in Colorado but eventually decided to come back to the desert where he worked in the construction industry specializing in small remodels and residential painting. While developing a growing business he went back to school to pursue his education and graduate with his bachelor’s degree. By the new millennium Jason had developed a reputation in the desert of his own for the quality of work and attention to detail he gave his customers. Jason would marry his long time high school sweetheart in 2000 and start a family of his own in 2002. Along with the new millennium came a new housing boom. Seeing the opportunity for growth Jason called his dad in Colorado.
Over the next six years as a team they would grow Whitley’s Construction Corporation to what it has become today, a highly recommended general contractor that stands behind their work and number one goal is customer satisfaction.
