Coolidge Unified School District

The Coolidge Unified School District, a district of 233 square miles, has been serving the city of Coolidge and its surrounding areas, including the Gila River Indian Community since 1935.

CUSD is a 1:1 computing and Beyond Textbooks district. Apple iPads are used by each student grades K-12 to supplement the learning experience. Students use the iPads to test, do research, create presentations and much more. Beyond Textbooks, a rigorous and effective curricular framework, provides teachers with a calendar allowing each student to stay on track with grade level standards.

Our Jr. High and High School provides college and career prep courses for all students, including engineering, ROTC, Agriculture (both plant & animal sciences), Culinary, Business & Marketing and more! Coolidge Jr. High and Coolidge High School offer athletic programs with historical success and state of the art facilities.

Heartland Ranch Elementary is a STEM focused site that serves grades K-6. Each student, each day has time dedicated to STEM learning that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering and Math into a comprehensive lesson.

West Elementary is a newly renovated site that has served the students of Coolidge since 1963. Led by a Coolidge High School Alumnus, West is home to many qualified and experienced educators.

Coolidge Alternative Program serves students grades 7-12, providing the same premier educational experience as all CUSD sites in an alternative setting. High School students can complete a variety of courses in an online setting at their own pace. Highly Qualified teachers are on staff to assist each student with their individual needs.

CUSD offers music from elementary through high school. Students have the opportunity to participate in music, chorus, and band!

Mini Bears Pre School, housed on the Coolidge High School campus, is a full service, all day pre school for children ages 3-5. Mini Bears follows a STEM curriculum that is aligned to prepare each student to enter into Kindergarten at West or Heartland Ranch fully prepared for success.
