Visiting Angels

Dear Friend,

My wife and I opened our Visiting Angels agency in September of 2005. At that time my father was living out his final years in our home. Dad suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and could not be left alone. We became intimately familiar with the elder care services available in our community, and indeed, the lack thereof. We tried several different options in providing my dad with the care he needed and came to the realization that those options fell short of our standards.

You see, we required that my father be treated with dignity and respect. We required that he be attended to according to OUR schedule, and we required that our home remain a comfortable place to live, both for him and for us.

Unable to find a solution that met those simple requirements, we created our own. Our Visiting Angels agency has serviced hundreds of families over the last several years. Dad has since gone to his Heavenly home, yet we still conduct our interviews with this simple question in mind: “Is this someone I would allow into my home to care for my father?"

Visiting Angels provides assistance to senior citizens, allowing them to remain comfortable at home, instead of moving to a nursing home or assisted living facility.

We provide assistance with meal preparation, light houskeeping, errands and shopping. We also provide personal care, such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and incontinence care.

A specific plan will be implemented based on YOUR needs, and according to YOUR schedule. We strive to meet your needs, whatever they may be.

We know it is difficult to invite someone into your home to provide care. We are sensitive to this, and allow you to select your own caregiver from our experienced staff. This is accomplished by allowing you to interview as many people as necessary until you find the one that is exactly right for you.
