Due to the approach of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Harvey & a mandatory evacuation order, our Victoria locations will be closing around noon on Friday. At that time the entrance gate will be chained closed. After the authorities authorize safe return to the Victoria area, our employees will return to open the gate & resume business. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are trying to protect our employees & your property.

On Memorial Day, please remember those (often very young) people who gave their lives in the military. In a way, they gave two lives . . . the ones they were leading . . . & the ones they could have led, growing older as wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers . . . respected senior citizens. Remembering my uncle, S 2/C Elden Duane Rogers, killed in action on March 19, 1945 (his 19th birthday) in an attack on the U.S.S. Franklin. Many (but never enough) thanks to all of those in the military who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedoms. Elden's younger brother, Jerry, has written a book about him and his service aboard the Franklin. If you are interested, the book is available in hardback from the OU Press website: It is also available in hardback or for the Kindle at Amazon: Better yet, ask your local bookstore to order a copy for you.
