I’ve been photographing weddings since 1984. I actually started by doing multi-camera video alongside a very good friend, Robert Brown, a studio owner in Southern California, who was kind enough to teach me the art of fine wedding photography. Throughout the years I have belonged to several professional organizations, including the Professional Photographers of America, the Professional Photographers of Orange County, where I won awards for portraiture and wedding album, the Southeast Professional Photographers Association, and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. While most of the events I photograph are in the greater Atlanta area, I have done many destination weddings throughout the country, including California, Colorado and Florida. One of my favorites was held in Trelawny Parish, Jamaica, about halfway between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. I was at the disposal of the couple the whole time, except for a couple hours on Saturday evening that I spent enjoying the best Reggae band I’ve ever seen (that didn’t include Bob Marley, of course).

My wedding photography styles range from the creative traditional, where I capture beautifully-posed family portraits to photojournalism, where with a variety of lenses and cameras I capture those moments that are spontaneous to the happy hugs and kisses of two individuals and their families becoming one. Most of these images are enhanced by the use of off-camera lighting, an absolute necessity for the professional results you expect. My goal is to thrill you with an Art Book filled with beautiful, creative, heart-warming photographs and to have fun while we’re at it!
