MDI provides diagnostic services and instruction to dyslexic students as well as training to teachers of dyslexic students. In addition, MDI is committed to raising public awareness about dyslexia and how to combat it. MDI also runs a "Pathways" program for students ages 5-7 to prevent failure in school, and "Camp Starlight" where students ages 7-16 can attend camp with other students with dyslexia at the YMCA's Mystic Lake camp.
