Facility: Not-for-profit, outpatient medical center offering multidisciplinary, integrative approach to treating cancer and blood disorder patients in a nine-county area of Southwest Michigan.
Collaboration: The area’s two major healthcare providers, Borgess Health and Bronson Healthcare Group, created WMCC.

Accreditation: WMCC is accredited by the American College of Radiation Oncology
(ACRO), the American College of Radiology Imaging Network
(ACRIN) and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). We are also certified by the QOPI Certification Program, an affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
Campus: 55,000 square feet on four floors at the main campus in downtown Kalamazoo; four satellite clinics in the cities of Allegan, Dowagiac, South Haven and Three Rivers.
Clinical Services: Chemotherapy/biotherapy, radiation therapy, breast cancer clinic, hemophilia clinic, gastrointestinal conference,
genitourinary conference, gynecologic oncology conference, hematology conference, neuro oncology conference, thoracic conference, genetic counseling, survivorship program, laboratory services, and outpatient oral pharmacy on site.
Annual New Cancer Patients Consults: 3,000
Clinical Staff: Fourteen physicians including nine medical oncologists, three
radiation oncologists and two gynecologic oncologists. In addition, WMCC employs eleven physician assistants and two genetic counselors as well as pharmacists, physicists, radiation therapists and oncology-certified nurses.
Clinical Trials: WMCC is a member of the Cancer Research Consortium of West Michigan (CRCWM), part of the National Cancer Institute Clinical Oncology Research Program (NCORP).
Support Services: Licensed, masters-level social workers assist patients and their
caregivers with mental health, community resources, transportation, housing, crisis intervention, employment rights, support groups, grief and loss concerns, end-of-life issues and more. Patients also have access to nutritional services from registered dietitians. Financial counseling, prescription coverage and advocacy is also
provided.
Wellness Programming: WMCC supports wellness classes both at the Center as well as in
the community. Community partnerships with local organizations focus on helping patients adopt healthy habits for survivorship.
Volunteer Services: More than 60 volunteers donate approximately 5,000 hours
annually, providing hospitality and comfort throughout the Center. They offer their time, skill & talent, serving in a variety of capacities including pet therapy, coffee cart services, greeting and more.
