The Tanner Dance Program is an arts auxiliary at the University of Utah geared for children ages 3-18. A non-profit since 1937, Tanner Dance is the culmination of the life's work of founder and visionary, Virginia Tanner.
The multiple programs within Tanner Dance, including the well-known Children's Dance Theatre, are dedicated to the University’s mission of teaching, research, and service, while nurturing an appreciation of dance, music, literature, theater, and the visual arts.
