Facebook, like libraries, is an open forum and we encourage discussions from all points of view. However, remember that you are legally responsible for content you post to the Internet. We ask that you adhere to the following posting guidelines to make sure this is a fun and respectful community. Messages that contain the following may result in the removal of your message or the blockage of your account.

- Obscene, profane, hateful, defamatory or sexual content
- Content that suggests or encourages illegal activity
- Plagiarized content or copyright infringements
- Personal attacks or threats
- Private, personal information published about another user without their consent
- Proprietary information about the Library
- Organized political or religious activities
- Content unrelated to the forum
- Solicitations or advertisements
- Sounds or images related to the above

Other things to keep in mind:
- Submitting content constitutes your acceptance of these guidelines.
- You are responsible for your comments, username and any information you provide.
- Your comments are being posted in a public space and can be viewed by anyone.
- Any content posted to JCPL’s Facebook page is considered a public record and is subject to the Colorado Open Records Act.
- Comments and postings by library patrons do not necessarily reflect the official position of JCPL or JCPL staff.
