Childrens Cancer Fund of New Mexico

The Children's Cancer Fund of New Mexico exists to help children and their families cope with the day-to-day emotional, financial, and educational needs of living with and fighting cancer.

Through our Helping Hand Program, our goals are:

To ensure all families basic needs are being met by providing assistance with rent, utilities, food, transportation, clothing, and special needs based on each individual child. To provide playroom supplies, snacks, and toys to the Pediatric Oncology Clinic for our children and their families. To grant any special requests that the families make in their time of need. Our Helping Hand Program touches many of our families and children in ways such as:

Bravery Bucks (Checks written to children receiving treatment), Cab Fare Vouchers, Car Repairs and Maintenance, Gasoline Vouchers, Lodging Assistance, Meal Vouchers, Scholarships Awarded to Cancer Survivors, Snacks and Drinks at the Hospital Clinic, Special Requests Made by Families, Toys and Gift Cards from the Prize Box, Travel Expenses, Wigs, Zoo, Museum, and Aquarium Passes, Funeral Expenses
