State Route 5s in the Town of Frankfort is approximately 9 miles both east and to the west. Approximately 2 miles east of the Town there is a NYS Thruway entrance/exit point located in the Town of Herkimer. Also located approximately 3 miles to the west of the Town there is another NYS Thruway entrance/exit point located in the City of Utica. The Town is approximately 60 miles west of the City of Syracuse and approximately 80 miles east of Albany.
