Independent Eye Care was founded in 1999, and since that time has been owned and operated by optometrist Dr Anthony Seymour and optician Shawn Blades. The goal from the outset has been to provide the personal service associated with a private eye care facility, where patients maintain a relationship with the doctors and staff, and to carry a selection of eyeglass frames and contact lenses that compete favorably with large retail chains.
After tremendous success in the first location in Danvers in 1999, a second location was added in Topsfield in 2001, and a 3rd location in Beverly in 2006. All three locations continue to grow due to our commitment to being the best eye care facility in the North Shore.
