Welcome to the Decorator Shoppe Lighting Center. Opened in 1963 by Gus Riordan, the Decorator Shoppe has been family owned and operated for over 40 years. We are pleased to have served the New Orleans area all of these years and are proud be a part of its
rebuilding.

Conveniently located in Metairie, LA, right across the street from Zuppardo’s grocery store, our showroom boasts a wide variety of chandeliers, vanity lights, outdoor lights, recessed lighting, track lighting and lamps, as well as ceiling fans, mirrors, and other home accessories. If you cannot find it in our showroom, you can browse through dozens of catalogs in the store or take some with you to browse in the comfort of your own home.

Whether you're looking for one item or choosing for an entire house, our consultants are here to help you choose the perfect lighting to fit your home, style, and budget. If you are remodeling or building a new house, we can design your lighting based on your electrical plan. Feel free to bring in samples of your flooring, countertops, cabinets and paint to ensure the best possible match.
