Villa Baglieri THE RESORT operated from 1946 to 1987 in Highland NY. The principal families, Angelo and Concetta Baglieri, Joe and Clara Baglieri & Sam and Josie Cerami founded and grew our seasonal summer resort in the burgeoning Catskill resort industry for over 41 years.
In later years the children took over the reigns, Bob and Cathy Cerami as well as Angelo, Leonard, Randall & June Baglieri were integral in it's continued growth and success.
Food service expertise led the family to get into the catering industry from 1971 to 2006 where thousands of weddings and parties took place over that 35 year span in the main facility. The resort was then known as Villa Baglieri Caterers. And for about 20 years during that same time frame Villa Baglieri Caterers also serviced the motor coach industry as a matinee dinner theater for senior clubs.
Villa Baglieri still operates today but only as a rental facility, 61 of the resort rooms are used being used as motel efficiencies.
