Hana Mission is a nonprofit Christian community outreach organization whose ministry was established in Paterson, New Jersey in September 1998. Hana Mission believes that all human beings are created in God's image, therefore, we are "one family" (Eph. 2). ("Hana" means "one" in Korean.) For this reason, Hana Mission emphasizes that we should learn how to love each other across boundaries, which are the products of human beings, based on differences in color, language and socioeconomic status. With this conviction, Hana Mission promotes the physical and spiritual well-being of homeless people, substance abusers, ex-felons and children from less privileged families.
