One third of a boy’s time is spent working with their assigned crew, as well as participating in community projects such as building or repairing a pier. Another third of a boy’s time is spent on a minor project of a boy’s own choosing with approval of leadership; and the last third of a boy’s time is spent in recreation such as volleyball, softball, swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, sailing, or hiking. The island environment also provides wonderful opportunities for forest and beach exploration.
