Cycling and disc golf are two sports that many Emporians enjoy. As home to the Dirty Kanza bicycle race and the Glass Blown Open disc golf tournament, Emporia has the resources to make your visit an adventure worth repeating. Located in the East Central edge of the Flint Hills, there are hundreds of miles of gravel roads in all directions from Emporia for cyclists to enjoy with family and friends or to train for gravel races. If disc golf is your game, we offer four 18-hole and three 9-hole courses.
When you're off the roads and courses, Emporia has over two dozen locally-grown eateries, as well as boutiques, antique & vintage stores and nightlife options including an Irish pub, a brewery, and a winery.
