ERROL K. DOMINGUE, PASTOR

Founded in 1896, the Reverend Errol K. Domingue is the fifth man called to the pastorate in the 114th-year history of the New Pilgrim Baptist Church. He became the pastor in 2001.

For the past 13 years, New Pilgrim Baptist Church of Zachary, LA has been guided with outstanding commitment and dedicated leadership by Reverend Errol Keith Domingue.

He was educated in the public schools of East Baton Rouge Parish and earned a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Southern University. He also received a Master’s of Divinity degree in Leadership from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition, he is a graduate of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s Leadership Baton Rouge and the Harvard Divinity School Summer Leadership Institute.

Pastor Domingue has been recognized with numerous honors and awards for his excellence as a church and community leader; and serves on the boards of directors for several community oriented organizations.

Pastor Domingue is dedicated to providing as much knowledge and guidance to the members of New Pilgrim through his numerous venues of presenting the Word.

Not only can you hear his spirit filled sermons on Sunday mornings and noon, you can find him ministering on Thursday evenings, offering words of inspiration via Facebook and Twitter, teaching Christian Development classes on Saturday mornings, sending Monday morning devotionals and during special seasons offering a guide of focused conversation with God.

Pastor Domingue is widely respected and admired throughout the community and has touched the lives of countless people with his singular gifts and talents; and through God's kindness and mercy, New Pilgrim Baptist Church of Zachary, LA thrives as a unified Christian family, and members have the utmost trust that God’s His grace will lead them on in harmony and thanksgiving as they celebrate their beloved pastor, Errol Domingue
