Founded in 1982 as a soup kitchen model for mostly homeless, single men, Loaves and Fishes has seen many changes. Today's typical guest is the working poor, families in transition, seniors on fixed incomes, and children. Well-balanced, nutritious meals are prepared and served by volunteers from local businesses, corporations, community groups, schools, families, and faith-based organizations. We operate over 80 meal outlets throughout MN and are serving at least one million meals annually.
