Well, it was a mixed bag yesterday afternoon. We here at the TBMB celebrated Phyllis Bates and her 43 years of faithful service to Tennessee Baptists but hate to see her go. Ms. Phyllis retires at the end of the month and we're going to miss her. If you've had anything to do with the mission board or the convention in these four decades, then you've been served in some way by this sweet, godly lady.
