St. Barnabas Health System added 3 new photos to the album: Alzheimer's Association 'Train the Trainer' Conference — at Arbor At St Barnabas.
Hosted by St. Barnabas Health System in The Grande at Arbors III was the Alzheimer's Association 'Train the Trainer' Conference. The presenters for the May 24, 2017 conference were The Alzheimer's Association Education and Outreach Coordinators, Judy McClelland and Jill Curtis. Anna Foust, Memory Care Specialist and Midge Hobaugh, Specialty Care Coordinator from St. Barnabas were in attendance, along with 16 others. The Train the Trainer Conference is an opportunity to be certified by the Alzheimer's Association in The Habilitation Approach to Dementia Care.The certification enables attendees to train their staff in caring for those living with dementia in a positive, person-centered manner. The certification also enable attendees to become support group facilitators.
