At Sonshine Preschool we strive to create a safe and comfortable learning environment for your child. We are open five days a week from 7am-5:45pm. Our rates are highly competitive and include breakfast, nutritious lunch, and two snacks per day. With over 30 years experience and small class sizes Sonshine Preschool is a wonderful place for your child to learn and grow.
We offer the FREE Voluntary Prekindergarten program (VPK) for any child who turned four years old before September 1st. This is a program that provides 540 FREE hours of instructional time for four year olds. Our program begins in August and ends in June and runs from 9am-12pm. We also have an after school program for students that attend Lake Shipp Elementary, Brigham Academy, Elbert Elementary, and Jewett School of the Arts. Transportation is provided to the center from the above schools.
Once the school year is over our after school program becomes a summer program for kindergarten through fifth grade students. Each week has a different theme to keep the kids interested and exploring during the summer vacation. Daily field trips are planned and a monthly schedule is sent home to keep parents informed.
