Aids Leadership Foothills-Area Alliance Alfa

ALFA provides free & confidential HIV testing daily at our office- 9- 4.

ALFA provides client services to anyone diagnosed with HIV/AIDS including resource and referral, case management, emergency financial assistance,transportation, food pantry, and client empowerment activities. ALFA is a United Way member agency.

Also provided to the community is comprehensive HIV prevention education programs in schools, churches, youth groups, prisions, mental health and substance abuse faciilites and more.

Volunteer programs and opportunities are also available to anyone interested in getting involved. Board of Director positions, event committees, fair/festival assistants, office help, client transporters, food panty pick up, scrap booking and more!

ALFA is open M-F, 9am-5pm. All services are FREE and confidential, and available in English and Spanish. ALFA serves nine northwestern North Carolina counties of Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Lincoln, Watauga, and Wilkes.
