I thot I should update this. Its LONG overdue. The church did its best but the pastor kept getting more tired, weaker, less able to work, etc. I seriously considered resigning and even tried to turn the church over to another congregation to carry on the work if I was un 'willing.' As it turns out I was given a med called SUboxone that is linked with adrenal insufficiency of which there are 3 types and its so rare only specialists understand it. Even they are probably guessing. I lost 70+ lbs ing 5 mos, 8 pants sizes, look like skinny war camp survivor, hollowed arm pits, holes in gut area from missing organs, colon talking up space. Been to ER 7 times in 2 mos. Gave verbal last will and Testament once. I thot I was done. I'd had a pulmonary embolism in '08 and cardiac arrest and was clinically dead for 4 mins. I tried to maintain a 'normal' pastorate under these circumstances and the ppl did what was most natural for them. They left. None stopped to talk about Y, I knew Y, well thot I did, note I do. Some called since to reconnect. The pastorate is a lonely, dirty job but I love it! God hasn't taken away my calling He's added to it and given me greater empathy and know why they call it the "valley of the shadow off death." :) Its not pretty. Its where you ask God to remove throne but He doesn't. Its where ur faith is questioned not just by you but by your loved ones who only see difference, change, and all symptomatic of adrenal insufficiency. Yeah I'm different. Also weight 140.7 today. I've lost 2 lbs a wk for 5 mos. and THANK GOD I have leveled off at 140 range. I get nauseousleigh sick everyday, still can get around but meds are running out. I have NO INSURANCE, NO DR, NO $, IN DEBT, BUT the Great Physician at my bedside. He loves me and up there or down here, I'm gonna be healed completely!

Like us! Its better than picking healthcare. 😇

God sent us the Dawn last Sunday. At night! And the great thing is Dawn came again Weds PM. Thank you God for Dawn. She was a blessing to come to the 2 most deserted services across all churches causing most to simply give them up to the 'will of the people.' Dawn is obviously a pastor's daughter. And a CSUN student who lives close. To Dawn's Dad out there serving faithfully, you raised a beauty, a light of a fresh day, Dawn. She is the light of the world like Jesus said she'd be. A the signal of a new beginning. Glory to God.
