The first House opened in October 1974 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since that time, the Ronald McDonald House program has expanded across the and around the world. Each Ronald McDonald House offers all the comforts of home- private guest rooms and bathrooms, communal kitchen and dining areas, laundry facilities, play rooms, playgrounds, TV and computer areas, and more.
