Barrington Real Estate was founded by Edith Barrington in 1964 and the basis of her business plan was based on the Christian principle of the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." She based her business on being diversified in real estate sales, property management and the property insurance business.
In 1995, her grandson, David Franklin took over the reigns and is still the owner today. In the past five years, the company has shifted it’s focus to being just a property management company and we are presently managing over four hundred properties in the Greater Metro Birmingham Area. Barrington Real Estate has a variety of properties ranging from low to moderate income family neighborhoods to higher income neighborhoods. Barrington Real Estate, to date, is the largest Section 8 landlord in the Birmingham area.
In 2010, we took the necessary steps to take our company to a new level of service using “state of the art” technology and the implementation of our website.
