Isabelle Gerard is dedicated to helping her clients with their skin concerns and cosmetic choices by sharing her expertise and experience. Her focus is individualized care and quality ingredients, be it in the treatment of blemishes, the comfort of sensitive skin or the steps to delay aging. Hair removal through expert face and body waxing is one of her specialties.
Isabelle received her professional training in France, where she was awarded (Paris 1983) a Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS) en Esthétique-Cosmétique, the highest diploma awarded by the French government in the field. The degree required a two-year study of the physiology and pathologies of the skin, as well as the physics and chemistry applied to the formulation of cosmetics.
Practicing since 1987 in her cozy Montclair studio in the Oakland hills, Isabelle still caters to many of her first clients, their friends, and their daughters -- or their sons. She happily accepts new clients and welcomes them as warmly as her long-time ones!
