Homecoming, named for Chef Jessica Hanners’s return to her home town, is a homey and casual place for the local community and visiting lake lovers to eat, fill up and enjoy! Daughter of Dwight and Jeanne Hanners, long-time South Sauty residents, Jessica has been working in the restaurant business all over the country from Oregon to South Carolina. Recently an executive chef in Atlanta, she is excited to bring her love of good food and southern hospitality back to Alabama.
The cafe will feature Breakfast All Day, as well as, diner classics like Burgers, Chicken Fingers, Fries, Homemade Ice Cream and Shakes. Healthy Salads and Daily Specials will also be features, made with vegetables from near-by farms.
The country store has most all of your convenient store necessities, gas, ice, grab and go foods, as well as, bait and tackle. Gas at the boat dock is also offered. We also have a selection of products made right in North Alabama. We are dedicated to supporting the local economy and growing to meet the needs of the community.
