Seven Hills Homeless Center

7hills has 3 primary programs: a Day Center, the Walker Family Residential Community (WFRC), and the HOPE program.

The Day Center at 7hills offers a place to access resources and move toward jobs, housing, and self-sufficiency. Most progress toward ending cycles of homelessness is accomplished during the day, and 7hills helps people toward their goals. Services provided at the Day Center meet basic human needs including meals, showers, storage lockers, laundry, clothing, blankets, case management and service referrals, use of telephone and computers, coffee, newspapers, safe mail drop, transportation, groceries, crisis counseling, volunteer opportunities, identification and birth certificate assistance, psychological counseling referrals and assessments, prescription assistance, day labor opportunities, and job search assistance.

WFRC has a transitional housing program, and a permanent supportive housing program. The transitional housing program is for single men, women, and families, and serves up to 16 individuals and 3 families. Residents receive two to twenty-four months of housing, case management, and other assistance to support their progress toward stable, independent living. The Supportive Living Program, offers permanent housing and wrap-around case management for 8 individuals with disabilities.

The HOPE program provides rapid re-housing and homelessness prevention services to over 50 individuals and families in need each year. This program is based on national best practices, and follows a housing first philosophy and scattered site housing model. Previously only available to Veterans, the program will now be open to non-Veterans and Veterans alike.

7hills has established partnerships with many of the most effective service organizations in Northwest Arkansas to enhance the resources available to our clients, maximize the donations we have received, and minimize service duplication. We recognize we cannot be experts in all areas in which our clients need assistance and are proud to be the hub where those in need obtain the plan they need to master their crisis.
