Unique and elegant, Jovani is fashion house for women of all ages. In the last few years, Jovani’s evening wear collection has grown from black tie staples, to include ready-to-wear, bridal, party dresses, and cocktail.

Jacob and Saul Maslavi started Jovani in 1980 in New York City, USA. At the age of 19, Saul co-founded Jovani with his father, a brand which they envisioned would fill a void in high-end women’s evening wear, opening up their first showroom in 1980 in New York. Over the past thirty years, Jovani has grown from a small office of 10 employees to a company with their collection currently selling in over 2000 doors worldwide.

Jovani is thoroughly modern in its perspective and reflects the modern fashion world’s love of color, fine fabrics and cutting edge designs – while still staying classic. Although traditionally a formal wear line, Jovani continues to expand their collections, most recently adding tops designed for their trend conscious consumer.

Saul Maslavi says,”These collections are sexy, elegant and timeless. We want all women to feel good in our designs and we know how important it is stay true to our roots and loyal to our customers while staying ahead of the trends and continuing to deliver top of the line quality and designs.”

Each season Jovani adds over 400 dresses to its expanding empire. In the last seven years, Jovani has won the prestigious Debi Award in design excellence for their Mother of the Bride collection and the Diva Award for the Jovani Prom collection.

A little bit about their 2010 collection….

This collection has everything you could ever want when it comes to style, design, embellishments, and sexy silhouettes. The combination of innovative design and luxurious fabrics makes this designer a major powerhouse when it comes to prom gowns, cocktail dresses and formal dresses. Although they have a large collection of over 400 gowns, every single dress is feminine, classy, and has that little bit of sexiness every woman desires. Jovani designs have been worn by many, many famous celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, and Carrie Underwood, just to name few.

For their 2010 Prom and Formal Wear Collection (available here) they have coupled incredible colors with stunning design techniques that have produced their most elegant and sought after dresses of the season. The designs are subtly draped and layered with elegance to flatter any body style, and they are available in so many different colors to assure that every girl finds what they are looking for.
