Dr. Phillip Solomon opened the practice in the 1950's in Melrose, MA based on two principles:

1) always treat people the way you would want to be treated
2) always strive to deliver the highest quality service possible.

Over the years the practice has blossomed into a true family business. Both of Dr. Solomon's sons, and grandson have joined the practice. Please read further to hear a little bit about our doctors.

Dr. Dave, like his father, graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Since then Dr. Dave has completed the 10 month Maxi-Course in Oral Implantology at NYU. Following an additional 600 hours of continuing education, he received the honor of the Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Joe also graduated from Tufts University and received a merit scholarship for all four years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the East Middlesex Dental Association.
Dr. Jared, Dr. Dave's oldest son, graduated from Tufts University in May of 2010 and completed a year residency at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY. Dr. Jared has been practicing at Solomon & Wright since 2011. He utilizes the most technologically advanced equipment available giving our patients the best care possible.
Dr. Phil Solomon passed away in August 2013, but he will always remain an essential piece of this practice. Today we stick to the same values Dr. Solomon engraved into our practice many years ago.
In addition to the doctors, we have six Registered Dental Hygienists: Maureen, Betty, Barbara, Christine, Jeanine, and Suzanne. Each of our hygienists are licensed by the State board and annual participation in continuing education allows our hygiene staff to maintain their advanced training and certification in preventive periodontal care.
Working in the administrative part of our practice we have Raina, Emily and Haley. Raina began working here when she was in high school, she now handles the majority of the business aspects that keep this office running smoothly! Emily and Haley work together handling the scheduling, billing, insurances, emails, marketing, and everything else that needs to be completed for our patients!
