The Hickok Center for Brain Injury strongly embraces a participant-driven support that enables each participant to become as independent and self-sufficient as possible. Our Rochester center provides a nurturing environment in which they are able to develop skills or learn compensatory strategies through performing many of the functions of operating the organization. Participants select the skills that they wish to develop and are then given the freedom to learn at their own pace.
