Rapport Leadership International

Mike and JoAnn Knapp founded Rapport Leadership International in Las Vegas in 1985. JoAnn has a bachelor’s degree in education and a Master’s Degree in psychological testing and was instrumental in designing the courses built on a proven leadership philosophy. Each course was brilliantly masterminded to engage and inspire clients, and raise levels of performance. Rapport has delivered training in global territories such as Canada, Italy, and the Caribbean.

In 2005, Joe and Jenifer Tate purchased Rapport Leadership International with an ownership group, and today, own the organization with Ann Simmons, president and CEO of Rapport. The Tates reside in Milwaukee where they are involved in other businesses and remain deeply committed to Rapport’s vision. They grew interested in ownership of Rapport after taking the courses themselves and realizing the profound impact the company could have on individuals and businesses. Ann Simmons joined Rapport in 2010 and resides in Las Vegas. She brings more than 27 years of operations and training experience in organizational development, human resources, and executive and team training. Prior to Rapport, Ann ran her own successful training organization, The Simmons Group, which specialized in organizational development. Upon joining Rapport, she brought over 50 half-day courses that she designed and wrote. In addition, she has opened, expanded or tranistioned over 30 large hotel/casino operations.

Rapport only functions because of a great team of skilled trainers, Leadership Training Advisors; Master Chef, Ron Nia and his talented team at the Executive Retreat; our front office staff; and our legendary coach driver, Bill Lindsey.
