These activities may include bathing, dressing, preparing meals, ambulating or medication assistance and in some cases, may be experiencing memory problems, but for the most part, they do not require constant care and are independent in several aspects of their lives. Assisted living communities provide companionship, security and assistance with the activities of daily living that seniors may require in an environment that promotes and enhances independence.
