With over 150 years of history, Metro specializes in terminal operations and the stevedoring of dry bulk, liquid bulk, and break-bulk cargoes.

Over the decades, Metro has expertly handled a myriad of cargoes: from ores to automobiles, from bauxite to passenger bags and stores, from petroleum coke to steel, from chilled fruit to specialized project cargo, from containers to cement. Part of our core business, Metro has been the terminal operator at the Port of Long Beach Pier G dry bulk facility for almost 50 years, exporting petroleum coke, coal, sulfur, and soda ash. Our affiliates Metro Cruise Services LLC and Metro Shore Services LLC are passenger cruise industry leaders providing a total package of services including: terminal management, stevedoring, agency, ground services, and shore excursions.
