Rodeo Heritage Museum holds hundreds of photos and memorabilia from Everett Colborn's collection of his World Championship Rodeo Company headquartered at the Lightning C Ranch at Dublin, Texas from 1937-1959 Everett Colborn produced this rodeo nationally and in 1942 Gene Autry became a partner and the World’s Championship Rodeo become the biggest and best rodeo in the nation. The roots of today’s rodeo began with the World’s Championship Rodeo in 30’s, 40’s and 50’s and the Rodeo Heritage Museum holds the lives and stories of the people that lived that rodeo life in those golden years of rodeo.
