Caring for as many as 18 patients at once is not safe. So AFSCME 3299 Patient Care workers at UCLA Medical Center spent Valentine's day asking administrators to have a heart and implement safer staffing levels. Catching the #Feels were RNs and fellow 3299 members who stickered up in solidarity.

Congratulations to AFSCME represented workers at UCSF’s School of Dentistry, who recently won a months long fight to be reclassified from Hospital Assistants to Sterile Processing Technicians—a reflection of the work they already do. The reclassification comes with a raise, and shows again that when we fight we win!
