Emerald City Trapeze Arts started in Seattle, way back in 2009, as Gary Kirkland's dream to bring the thrill of trapeze and other aerial performance arts to the land of rain and evergreens. Located in Sodo's historic Canal Boiler Building at Lander and 6th, weekly classes in flying trapeze and aerial arts, including silks, rope, hoop and various forms of conditioning are taught by experienced instructors from Cirque de Soleil, Club Med, Ringling Brothers and performance stages around the world.
