Hanson Services, Inc. was founded in Lakewood, Ohio in 1996 by Mary Ann Hanson, and is a privately held home care provider in Ohio and Florida. Mary Ann Hanson is a graduate of Butler University and has spent over 30 years in health care management and administration.
Her experiences with institutional residential living facilities, such as Assisted Living and Independent Living facilities, brought about the realization that an overwhelming segment of the older adult population would prefer to remain in their own homes as long as possible. She saw there was a great need to make the option of quality home care services available to older adults, and to eliminate the assumption that they should be forced into institutions they don’t want or need.
Being at home allows for added independence, individual lifestyle, and a feeling of security and stability. Hanson Services, Inc. offers this way of life to older adults by providing In-Home care. We also coordinate our services with licensed health care agencies and providers, with our principle goal being to bring a sense of well-being and normalcy to the home of the older adult and their family.
