Hello, my name is Marnie and I came in with my sister Natalie on 11/27/17. I am a 1-year old Rat Terrier mix of some sort and I am 18 pounds. I am a sweet girl who had a rough start in life. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but I warm up fairly quickly. I love to cuddle and give kisses when I feel safe with people. I have learned to walk on leash since coming to ACHS and am eager to learn all the other great doggy stuff. I am looking for a quieter home where my new family will take the time to teach me all the cool stuff and love me forever. I know I might take a little more time since I don't know anything, but I am so worth the cuddles and love if you give me a chance. I don't have to live with another dog, but it would be helpful for me learning everything. Part of my adoption fee has been sponsored so my adoption fee is now $161 with tax. I am spayed, current on my rabies, distemper and kennel cough vaccinations. I am heart worm negative and on preventative, on flea & tick preventative, de-wormed and I have a microchip as well. If you are interested in me, you can fill out an adoption application on our website at www.adamscountyhumanesociety.org to get pre-approved if you like. Filling out an application does not tie you down to me it just gets the paperwork out of the way so if I am a good match for your family you can do same day adoption when you come to meet me. If you can't have a dog but want to help me find a home sooner, you can help by sponsoring part or all of my adoption fee. You can do this by making a donation through our PayPal button on the website, put that the donation is for my adoption fee in the comment section. All donations are tax deductible.

Hello, my name is Happy and I came in on 11/11/17. I am a male mixed breed puppy. I was born in the end of May 2017 and 32 pounds. I was adopted out for a couple of months but I came back because I am pretty afraid of men and was struggling to get over it in my current home. I love the ladies and I am good with kids as well. I lived with kittens in my last home and did well with them. I am house trained and have been taught to ring a bell when I need to go outside. I love to be with my female people and be loved on. I am a pretty laid back kid for a pup of my age. I am looking for my loving forever home without men living in it. My adoption fee is $211 with tax. I am neutered, current on my rabies, distemper and kennel cough vaccinations. I am heart worm negative and on preventative, on flea & tick preventative, de-wormed and I have a microchip as well. Congrats to our beautiful girl Sadie Rose for finding her loving forever home today! She arrived on 1/8/18 and was adopted on 1/20/18. She is going to have a wonderful life with her new parents who have adopted from ACHS in the past.
